Liseberg reopened on June 3 after 520 days of closure, with the new family dark ride Underlandet making its debut.

Underlandet is part of Kaninlandet (the Rabbit Land) and the new dark ride is a custom-made project for Liseberg by Quarry Fold Studio, P&P Projects, Gosetto and LifeFormations.

Guests are taken underground to experience the rabbits’ secret world. It is the first dark ride that the park has built in 50 years.

In addition to Underlandet, several other new additions opened in the children's area – a renovated river ride, Morotsresan (the Carrot Journey), a new stage and a rabbit-themed restaurant for children, Bergs Bistro.

Andreas Andersen, the CEO & President of Liseberg:

"We’ve invested almost SEK 200 million (€20 million) in our most important guests; children."
