The world’s first Peppa Pig theme park attraction, Peppa Pig World, is now bigger and better, and Paultons Park invited us to the grand preview event.

Fans of the TV series will be snorting with delight when the expansion with 2 new rides, The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride and Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club, is available to the public from Wednesday 16th May 2018.

Here's our review and everything you need to know about Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park.

The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride takes families on a tour around the newly extended section of Peppa Pig World and lasts 4 minutes. Children and adults are seated in individual coaches on a raised track that starts from the top of the Queen’s castle, a signature point of the attraction.

The ride features on-board audio, with Peppa Pig narrating the journey and pointing out things to see along the way. The coaches are spacious and comfortable and the ride offers excellent views of Peppa Pig World.

Each coach can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Children and adults can also hop aboard boats at Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club and cruise along the new waterway around the expanded Peppa Pig World and discover Pirate Island.

There are a series of charming scenes on the route, some with audio, and the boats gently spin as you go. The ride lasts just under 5 minutes.

Each boat accommodates up to 4 people. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Both of the new rides are longer than the others in Peppa Pig World, giving families a chance to rest their feet and take in the wonderful surroundings.

As well as the 2 new rides, Paultons Park has also created an additional dedicated baby care centre and a new catering outlet called The Queen’s Kitchen.

Everything has been done to the very highest of standards, with a superb level of attention to detail throughout. It's not just the new rides, the area is dotted with quirky features such as Mr Bull's roadworks with a seemingly burst pipe squirting water, and there is a lovely seating area surrounded by trees, as well as various attractively planted displays.

With the addition of the 2 new rides there are now 9 rides in total within Peppa Pig World, as well as indoor and outdoor play areas, Peppa's Toy Shop and Daddy Pig's Big Tummy Cafe.

The 7 existing rides are:

  • Peppa's Big Balloon Ride
  • Miss Rabbit's Helicopter Flight
  • Daddy Pig's Car Ride
  • Grandpa Pig's Little Train
  • George's Dinosaur Adventure
  • Grandpa Pig's Boat Trip
  • Windy Castle Ride

Admission to Peppa Pig World is included in all day tickets for Paultons Park, available here.

Paultons Park is located just off exit 2 of the M27 close to the edge of the New Forest and it includes over 70 rides and attractions.

The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride and Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club will both open to the public on Wednesday 16th May 2018.
