Plopsaland Deutschland is set to open their new 100% Wolf family roller coaster in spring 2026, as part of the theme park’s ongoing transformation.

The roller coaster, based on the popular animated series and film 100% Wolf, will be the centerpiece of a newly themed area designed to captivate visitors of all ages.

As part of an €80 million master plan, this year the park opened a Smurf-themed ride and completed the Blinky Bill-themed area, Greenville Town.

With a track length of 760 meters, the ride promises a unique experience for families, combining fun and excitement with scenic views of the park’s lake. The coaster’s design features a “spike” – an open-ended section of the track – and includes a surprising backwards section, adding an element of suspense and thrill for both young and old riders. The new attraction is part of a larger effort to diversify Plopsaland Deutschland’s offerings.

Bernd Beitz, the director of Holiday Park operator Plopsa, said:

“With this new attraction, we are closing the gap between our indoor children's roller coaster and our thrill coasters. The new roller coaster is perfect for the whole family.”

Developed in partnership with German manufacturer Gerstlauer, the 100% Wolf roller coaster will bring to life the story of Freddy, a young werewolf who is transformed into a poodle instead of a fearsome creature during the full moon. The series has captivated audiences worldwide with its blend of humour, adventure, and heart-warming messages of self-discovery. The park’s investment of €11 million in this new attraction underscores its commitment to providing top-quality entertainment for visitors.

Looking ahead, the park has even bigger plans for the future. It will introduce a festival-themed area based on the globally renowned Tomorrowland music festival, including a large roller coaster aimed at older visitors.
