Winter Efteling returns on 16 November 2026 for eleven weeks of seasonal festivities, running through 31 January 2027.

The annual event brings a fresh look to the park, introducing brand new attractions, new stage entertainment, and, for the first time in Efteling's history, evening tickets available throughout the Christmas holidays.

New Features for the 2026 Winter Season

The Warm Winter Meadow has been redesigned and features The Slippery Slope, a brand new ice skating rink. A portion of the rink is covered, complete with indoor seating styled in traditional Efteling fashion where all visitors can enjoy food and drink.

The area also introduces two new temporary attractions:

  • Cirque Papillon: A new caterpillar coaster attraction.
  • Cirque Miragio: A 20 minute musical and acrobatic performance staged inside a nostalgic mirror tent. The show explores what became of the Evil Queen after Snow White got her happy ending.

Park Wide Entertainment and Festive Atmosphere

Seasonal touches and live entertainment are located across the entire park:

  • Fairy Tale Forest: The iconic mushrooms feature snow covered caps for the winter season.
  • Symbolica Square: A covered gazebo offers photo opportunities with park mascot Pardoes, joined by the noisy Nikkelen Nelissen musical figures from Symbolica.
  • Anton Pieck Square: Plays host to festive melodies from the Carolling Carousel and the nostalgic game Uyt den Losse Pols.
  • Carrousel Theatre: Stages performances of The Man with the Magic Lantern through 3 January 2027.

Reopening of Raveleijn Area

Following nearly a year of major renovations, the Raveleijn themed area officially reopens to all park visitors on Thursday, 3 December 2026. Premium Annual Pass holders receive exclusive preview access during a special event on 1 December. The refreshed area includes the new Ravenring attraction along with a brand new Raveleijn live show.
