Belgian entertainment giant Studio 100 has unveiled plans for a major new family production, Dr. Molino’s Magical Circus, set to debut next spring.
Beginning 1 May 2027, the immersive show will take up exclusive residency at the Studio 100 Theater De Panne, situated directly adjacent to Plopsaland Belgium.
Following numerous successful musicals, shows and events, this new production is their first-ever completely non-verbal show.

By removing the dialogue entirely, Studio 100 aims to broaden its appeal to international theme park tourists and coastal visitors who frequent the region. The narrative centres on Dr. Molino, a mysterious explorer traveling the globe, who unites an eclectic array of acrobats, clowns, and mythical creatures into a singular circus troupe. The performance relies on visual storytelling, incorporating high-level acrobatics, physical humour, and illusion.
Gert Verhulst, founder of Studio 100, emphasised the cross-generational intention behind the formatting shift:
"With Dr. Molino’s Magical Circus, we are creating a completely new experience within the world of Studio 100. This show appeals not only to children, but also to teenagers, parents and grandparents. By telling the story entirely visually, the show also transcends language barriers and allows everyone to be swept away into this magical world."
Positioned right next to Plopsaland Belgium, the new show is positioned as an extension of the resort experience for both domestic families and international travellers visiting the theme park.
Tickets and scheduling details for the 2027 run are expected to be released closer to the opening date.
