Gardaland Magic Halloween

Oct - Nov 2018

Gardaland Magic Halloween returns from 6th October every weekend of the month and until the long Halloween weekend, from 31st October to 4th November 2018.

During Gardaland Magic Halloween, the theme park will be open from 10am to 6pm, except for the 31st October, when the night will be finishing at midnight.

A multitude of colourful themed decorations will be welcoming children and adults alike in the streets of the park: from the typical pumpkins to unsettling graves, from haystacks to giant spider-webs and spooky yet humorous cemetery. Among the over 40 rides of the park there will be monsters of all kinds: horrid zombies, frightful mummies, spooky skeletons, terrifying vampires, feeble phantoms, toe-curling spiders and bats, weird witches and dark characters of all kinds, they have all been summoned to celebrate together this festivity born in the USA but now appreciated worldwide.

After the great success of the initiative in the past editions, Gardaland has once again decided to offer special entries to the park at the price of 15 euro to those dressing up as monsters on the first opening day, the 6th October. Beware though: only those looking like monsters “from head to toe” will be able to take advantage of this great opportunity. Those who don’t know how to put makeup and yet still wish to get in the mood for the party will be able to visit a number of skilled makeup artists in Valley of Kings square, offering perfect Horror Make Up decorations.

The climax of Gardaland Magic Halloween will be, as usual, the unmissable Halloween Party on 31st October. On the scariest night of the year, from 7pm to midnight, an entertaining party will make guests and monsters alike celebrate under the stars in Valley of Kings square, animated for the occasion by a fantastic DJ set.

The fun days at the park will be kicked-off, as usual, by the Prezzemolo’s Welcome Show who, accompanied by friendly vampires will be welcoming guests at the entrance gates, making them part of event from the get-go. But Halloween also means music: the notes of the unconventional Mostro Band, five 'Count Draculas' entertaining children and adults alike will be echoing in the streets of the park!

Plenty of Halloween-themed shows will surprise guests during those special days, with live spectacles and fun, chilling performances! The Theatre of Fantasy will be playing host to a new family-friendly show 'Chi ha paura del buio?”'(Who’s afraid of the dark?) that takes advantage of the so-called 'black art' technique, in other words black theatre: what happens when all lights go out? What mysterious creatures are lurking in the shadow? The opening of a magic book will unleash a myriad of horrifying little monsters and fun surprises, among which the hilarious mime-clown Pass Pass.

Gardaland Theatre will be the home of 'Horror Hotel', an original Halloween-themed musical sang 'live': Horror Hotel’s manager will accompany spectators in the discovery of the strange guests inhabiting the rooms: from the feared black widow and her daughters to the wacky and improbable chefs… Choreography, tunes and songs were created especially for this brand new live show. The Arena Hawaii will see young spectators coming to the aid of Prezzemolo, Aurora and Ti-Gey to defeat the evil witch Zenda.

And to finish off the day in style Camelot square will be the starting point, at 5.40pm of Halloween Parade, an unsettlingly happy parade of monsters, witches, spectres and skeletons which will be roaming the streets of the park to arrive, at 6pm, in Valley of Kings square, where a dazzling final show will take place!
