Starting in April 2018, visitors to Futuroscope will be able to experience Sébastien Loeb's rally driving through an unprecedented combination of virtual reality and 5D.

The new attraction will bring together a 360° 6K film presented through VR headsets, dynamic bucket seats with 6 axis of movement, spacial sound and added effects such as wind and water.

Sébastien Loeb Racing Xpérience is being developed by Futuroscope in partnership with FrayMédia.

Dominique Hummel, Chairman of the Futuroscope Management Board:

"Futuroscope is constantly reinventing itself by drawing on innovations. By combining other technologies with virtual reality, Futuroscope is pushing the evolution of virtual reality to an advanced stage, so that it offers the best of itself."

Visitors will feel every jolt in the road by sitting in dynamic bucket seats with the movements synchronised with the action on the VR headsets. These latest generation simulators will move in time with the 360° 6K VR film, designed by FrayMédia, accompanied by spacial sound and added effects such as wind and water.

There will also be a 700 m2 pre-show dedicated to the champion's career, from his debut to his 9 World Rally Championship titles. Sébastien Loeb is the most successful rally driver in French motorsport and has been heavily involved in creating the new attraction.
