Fraispertuis-City, a popular theme park in France, will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2026 with the debut of two major new family attractions: Fireline Redwood, a Vekoma Family Boomerang roller coaster, and a new Zierer family drop tower.
Together, the two brand-new attractions represent a €7 million investment and will be integrated into the park’s lumberjack-themed area, alongside Timber Drop, Rivière Castor, and Sawmill (new for 2025). Construction has been underway since late September with support from multiple local companies.
Founded in 1966 by the Fleurent family, Fraispertuis-City remains the oldest French amusement park still operated by its founding family. The 60th anniversary lineup reinforces the park’s commitment to innovation, immersive theming, and the ambition to create memorable family experiences.
Fireline Redwood – A New Family Coaster by Vekoma
The headline addition for 2026 is Fireline Redwood, a storyline-driven family boomerang coaster themed around the elite American “Hotshot Crews” who battle forest fires. Riders as small as 95 cm can join the firefighting recruitment mission as they board a 20-passenger train that is first lifted backward before being launched through a dramatic 208-metre layout.
The track features sections both above and below ground, culminating in a striking 28-metre-tall spike integrated into the trunk of a giant redwood tree. The roller coaster reaches speeds of up to 61 km/h before reversing through the course and returning to the station.
