LEGOLAND Billund Resort has confirmed that its highly anticipated new attraction, Minifigure Speedway, will welcome its first riders on March 28, 2026.
Denmark’s original LEGOLAND theme park is gearing up for a high-octane season with the launch of the country’s first-ever duelling roller coaster. This major investment marks a significant addition to the park’s ride line-up, offering a unique racing experience that combines LEGO storytelling with modern coaster technology.
A Turbo-Charged Showdown
Minifigure Speedway is designed as a high-energy competition between two teams: Team All Stars and Team Legends. Led by their fearless LEGO Minifigure captains, guests will board one of two separate trains to engage in a side-by-side race to the finish line.
The attraction is a duelling roller coaster, meaning two tracks run parallel to each other in multiple places. However, in a twist that adds to the adrenaline, the ride experience features a shuttle element where the trains race both forwards and backwards along the track. Because the winner of the race can change with every ride, no two rides are exactly the same.

The new coaster is designed to be a family-plus attraction, offering enough speed to thrill older children and adults while remaining accessible to younger adventurers.
