Parc Astérix has announced details for its fourth themed hotel, L’Odyssée Hôtel, scheduled to welcome guests on 26 March 2027.
The project forms a key milestone in the French park's wider €250 million investment plan running through 2030, aimed at expanding overnight capacity and enhancing guest experiences.
A New Ancient Travel Inn Experience
Designed to resemble a grand historic roadside inn from the ancient Silk Road, L’Odyssée Hôtel will double the accommodation capacity at Parc Astérix with 300 themed rooms, including four exclusive suites and dedicated family options.
The scenography, directed by Thierry Retif, transports guests across historical civilisations, including Persia, Egypt, Mesopotamia, and Phoenicia. The architecture will feature detailed set dressing, atmospheric lighting, and expansive indoor and outdoor greenery designed to evoke a lush desert oasis.
The complex will incorporate several key amenities:
- Dining Venues: Two main restaurants, Le Restaurant des Marchands and Le Restaurant des Sables.
- Bar Area: L’Oasis lounge bar.
- Events Space: A modular 1,326 square metre seminar venue for corporate gatherings and conferences.
The development has achieved an Excellent rating under the High Environmental Quality (HQE) certification scheme, recognising its sustainable construction and energy standards.
Rates will start from €328.30 total (or €82.06 per person) for a package covering one night of hotel accommodation and one day of park admission for a family of four (two adults and two children). Bookings officially open on 30 October via the main park website.
Strategic Growth and Recruitment Drive
Delphine Pons, Managing Director of Parc Astérix, highlighted the importance of the project within the destination's masterplan:
"With L'Odyssée Hôtel, we are taking a major step forward in the hotel development of Parc Astérix. This hotel offers total immersion, unparalleled comfort and a unique experience, transforming every stay into a truly sensory journey. It is part of our overall investment plan of €250 million by 2030, aimed at enhancing the park's appeal and enriching the experience of our visitors."
To support the resort expansion, Parc Astérix is launching a nationwide recruitment campaign to fill nearly 200 permanent and seasonal positions across guest service, housekeeping, reception, and catering. A dedicated recruitment day will take place on 10 December 2026 to select the hospitality team.
