Three new 4-star resort hotels have opened at some of Europe's most visited theme parks; Krønasår at Europa-Park, Hotel Colorado Creek at PortAventura World, and Gardaland Magic Hotel at Gardaland Resort.

The opening of these new hotels are a response to the growing demand for family holidays and short breaks at European theme parks.

Krønasår – The Museum-Hotel opened at Europa-Park on May 31, modelled after a natural history museum and is a special place for knowledge-hungry explorers and adventurers to stay.

There are 276 themed rooms and 28 luxury suites, with all guests able to enjoy family restaurant Bubba Svens in the style of an old boathouse, à la carte restaurant Tre Krønen featuring a Chef's Table, Bar Erikssøn named after the Icelandic sailor and explorer Leif Eriksson, and Café Konditori with homemade cakes and patisserie.

It is the sixth hotel at Europa-Park and expands the capacity of the resort to 5,800 beds. The adjoining water park Rulantica opens later this year.

The resort's sixth hotel, which has involved an investment of 25 million Euros, features 150 rooms with intricate décor and two queen size beds to ensure maximum comfort. The rooms are distributed between three buildings to which another has been annexed for the restaurant and exclusive parking.

The opening of the hotel brings the total number of rooms in the resort to more than 2,200 and it is PortAventura World’s first zero-emissions hotel.
