An investment of €80 million will be made in Holiday Park, including new themed areas and attractions, a large water park, and upgrades to the existing park.

The adventures of Blinky Bill are coming to Holiday Park in 2024, with two new attractions. Opening in 2025, there will be a Smurfs attraction as well as a third new attraction for the Blinky Bill themed area.

€40 million will be invested in a new water park and other planned additions include a brand new themed area with a major attraction in collaboration with the world-famous festival giant Tomorrowland.

Blinky Bill themed area

Holiday Park has announced the construction of a new themed area, which will be completed in two construction phases. The new hero of the themed area is the fluffy koala Blinky Bill. The iconic Australian children's character has been lighting up children's eyes worldwide for over 90 years and is now being brought to life in a theme park for the first time.

Two new attractions will be created in the first construction phase. Blinky's Soapboxes takes you on a wild tour through the Australian outback. Fast curves and cool airstream guarantee adventurous fun. The crazy flying Greenville Bus is ideal for the whole family. From high above, guests will soon be able to enjoy the view of Blinky Bill's home village of Greenville. Blinky's Soapboxes and the Greenville Bus will open in summer 2024.

The expansion of the new themed area to include a third attraction will take place in construction phase two. Completion is planned for 2025.

Smurfs dark ride

A planned new attraction based on the Smurfs, which is popular across generations, has already been announced and will open in spring 2025. Further new attractions are also being planned for 2025.

Tomorrowland attraction

The major project for a new themed area at Holiday Park is also currently in the first phase of development. Together with the popular Tomorrowland music festival, the park is planning a unique experience with a spectacular major attraction for the 2026 season, aimed primarily at adults and teenagers.

New water park

In collaboration with the municipality of Haßloch, a new, state-of-the-art water park with themed adventure pools, exciting water slides, sports pools and play elements for children is being built at the location of the Haßloch bathing park. The new water park with an investment volume of around €40 million is intended to set new standards for refreshing water fun with its large indoor and outdoor areas and, together with Holiday Park, will also attract guests from across the region.
