This year Parc Astérix will once again transform into a non-stop spectacle of fantastically terrifying monsters and creatures.

Peur sur le Parc (Fear in the Park) returns from October 2 until November 7, 2021.

With many themed attractions and frightening encounters throughout the park, spine tingling thrills both big and small can be found everywhere at Parc Astérix.

With a major milestone approaching in just 6 months, guests can anticipate more magic on the horizon as Disneyland Paris kicks off its 30th Anniversary on March 6, 2022.

The 30th Anniversary will feature a host of special experiences across both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.

Cast members will be at the heart of this once-in-a-lifetime celebration of the resort’s enchanting past and exciting future.

Wickieland, a brand new €10 million themed area based on the Studio 100 character 'Wickie de Viking' is now open at Holiday Park and includes three new rides.

The new attractions include both the Disk’O Coaster and Splash Battle rides from the very first Wickieland that opened at Plopsaland De Panne in 2014.

In addition to the three new rides, the new themed area also includes a new restaurant and a playground.

Aqualantis, the new themed area at Energylandia in Poland that includes the double launch roller coaster Abyssus, is now open.

This new 6-hectare expansion also features other rides and attractions, food and drink outlets, and shops.

The theming for the area is based on ancient Atlantis, where the inhabitants lived in prosperity and harmony with the sea until it was overwhelmed with water and the kingdom was at the bottom of the ocean for centuries. Brave explorers found the ruins and built a pump station to recover the lost city.

French theme park Vulcania has opened its first ever roller coaster, Namazu.

Manufactured by Intamin Amusement Rides, this new family launch coaster includes indoor and outdoor sections, two launch elements and one free fall element. During the pre-ride experience visitors enter the scientific base of a team of seismologists (the ‘Namazu’ team) based near the site of an unstable seismic fault, then join them on a roller coaster themed as vehicles specially designed to access rugged areas.
