Liseberg will invest 200 million SEK (€19.5 million) in an expansion of the Kaninlandet (Rabbit Land) family area of the theme park for 2020.
The additions will include a new attraction, show and themed restaurant with details yet to be revealed.
In recent years, Liseberg has invested in numerous thrilling attractions such as Helix, Loke and Valkyria, but now the theme park wants to enhance the experience for younger visitors.

Fårup Sommerland in Denmark will open 2 brand new family rides in 2019, a motorcycle-themed attraction and a wave swinger.
It is one of the biggest theme parks in the country with over 60 rides and attractions including 6 roller coasters, attracting more than half a million visitors each year.
The motorcycle-themed attraction is a 'Sidecar' ride from the Italian manufacturer Technical Park and the wave swinger will be supplied by German manufacturer Zierer.

Energylandia in Poland has announced that Europe's tallest hybrid roller coaster will open at the theme park in 2020. The new ride will be over 60 metres (196.8 ft) tall, 1300 metres (4265 ft) long and reach a top speed of 115 km/h (71.5 mph).
Zadra (the Polish for splinter) will feature 3 inversions, including a Zero-G roll and an inverted airtime hill.
The theme park opened as recently as 2014 and already includes 70 rides and attractions over 26 hectares.

A third resort hotel will open at Gardaland in May 2019, followed by the start of a new arrangement with Jet2Holidays to attract more visitors from the UK.
The new Gardaland Magic Hotel will be inaugurated at the end of May 2019 following a 20 million euro investment.
Concept images show off the architectural characteristics of the new hotel, with an unusual purple roof and a giant magician's hat structure suspended over a garden where gigantic, colourful flowers and mushrooms pop out.

Freizeitpark Plohn in Germany is set to have an explosive year in 2019 with the opening of new roller coaster Dynamite.
There are currently five roller coasters at Freizeitpark Plohn including the GCI wooden coaster El Toro.
Dynamite will be 44 m (144 ft) tall and 500 m (1640 ft) long, featuring an inverted Dive Drop, Loop and Zero G-Roll. The ride will reach a top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h).

French theme park Le PAL will open a new family ride for the 2019 season, with The Yukon Wings joining the Yukon Territory-inspired area of the park.
The ride model is known as WindstarZ, from the the manufacturer Zamperla.
Riders will be able to take a seat aboard a hang glider and become a pilot by controlling the movement of the sail.
With its colourful, attractive and original design, the new attraction promises to offer an unforgettable experience with guaranteed thrills.

Efteling – the fairytale theme park in the south of Holland – has revealed that a new attraction is to launch where the Bob bobsleigh run is currently located, scheduled to open in spring 2020.
After more than 34 years of service as a children's roller coaster, next year Bob will make way for a new roller coaster aimed at children aged between 4 and 10 years old.
Max & Moritz will be a dual-tracked roller coaster, based on a well-known German visual poem about two naughty boys called Max and Moritz.

Efteling – the fairytale theme park in the south of Holland – has announced that the park will be welcoming a new fairytale in the park’s Fairytale Forest, due to open in autumn 2019.
Based on the Brothers Grimm fairytale called The Six Swans, the attraction will be the 30th to join the forest and will be located between Snow White's cave and Cinderella's house.
The fairytale scene will be the first ever in Efteling that will be combined with a mini ride.
