Europa-Park Resort has announced that the Principality of Monaco will join its prestigious lineup of European themed areas in 2026.

Set to debut for spring, Monaco will become the 18th country represented at Germany’s largest theme park, joining the likes of France, Italy, and the recently opened Croatia.

A Partnership of Excellence

The new area is the result of a high-profile cooperation between the Mack family (owners of Europa-Park) and H.S.H. Prince Albert II. The Prince, a long-time admirer and frequent visitor of the park, expressed his delight at the partnership.

"Monaco will become the 18th country to be represented there, enabling millions of visitors to learn more about our Principality and hopefully come here too." said H.S.H. Prince Albert II.

High-Octane Thrills and Riviera Glamour

The new themed land will be anchored by the existing Silver Star hypercoaster, which is currently undergoing a significant 'Monaco Makeover'. The area will be divided into eight distinct zones, recreating the atmosphere of the Monaco Grand Prix and the luxury of the Côte d'Azur.

Key features of the Monaco themed area will include:

  • The Grand Prix Atmosphere: A complete redesign of the Silver Star entrance and queue, featuring checkered-flag motifs and racing-inspired scenery.
  • Luxury Landmarks: Immersive recreations of the famous Monte Carlo Casino, the glamorous marinas, and the picturesque streets of the Principality.
  • The Sovereign's Collection: A unique exhibition of vehicles from the private collection of Prince Albert II, offering guests an exclusive look at Monaco’s automotive heritage.
  • Culinary Excellence: A new Café de Paris recreation and dining outlets serving Mediterranean-inspired gastronomy.

The Monaco themed area is scheduled to open for the start of the 2026 season on March 28, 2026. The new area is centered around the former Silver Star Hall, situated between the French and German themed lands.
