Europa-Park has announced three new family attractions for the 2027 season, bringing fresh experiences to its Portuguese, Icelandic, and Italian themed areas.

Germany’s largest theme park continues its tradition of providing multi-generational appeal with these upcoming additions.

A breath of fresh air in Portugal

Visitors heading to the Portuguese themed area will soon be able to experience the Wild Swing XL. Standing at over 14 metres tall, the giant swing will be positioned right in the middle of the Portuguese lake. Designed to blend thrills with family-friendly fun, this new ride draws inspiration from the relaxed atmosphere of the Portuguese coast alongside the country's inventive spirit.

Soaring high in Iceland

Positioned between the WODAN – Timburcoaster and blue fire Megacoaster, a new interactive tower attraction is also set to open in 2027. Riders of all ages will be given the chance to steer the tower themselves, offering panoramic views across the Icelandic themed area and fresh perspectives from high above the harbour hustle.

Journey through Italy

Families can also look forward to the return of a beloved classic too. Having delighted younger visitors for over 40 years, the traditional gondola ride in the Italian themed area is being reimagined as Enzo’s Piccolo Mondo. Returning in all its glory for 2027, the updated attraction will invite guests to explore Italy through art, classical theatre, and traditional music.
