French outdoor adventure park O’Fun Park, located in Le Bernard in the Vendée region, has announced a major €6 million investment for 2027 to celebrate its 25th anniversary. The expansion will feature four new family attractions, headlined by the park's first-ever roller coaster.
Originally known for its active outdoor adventures (including tree-top assault courses, zip lines, and paintballing) the park is introducing mechanical rides to broaden its appeal to families with younger children. The additions follow the full Wild West re-theming introduced across the park in 2026.
Four New Wild West Attractions
Supplied by Italian manufacturer Zamperla, all four new additions will carry the park's signature Wild West theme:
- Mine Discovery: Opening in May 2027, this family roller coaster marks a major milestone as O’Fun Park's first coaster. The ride features a 155-metre circuit and reaches top speeds of 26 km/h. With an eleven-carriage train carrying up to 22 passengers at a time, it will accommodate nearly 750 riders per hour.
- Drift Box: Slated to open on 3 April 2027, this circuit ride features eight two-seater cars styled as runaway toolboxes racing around an oval track.
- Giant Citern: Also debuting on 3 April 2027, this 6-metre family drop tower is themed around classic Wild West water tanks, offering gentle vertical drops and bounces.
- Rodeo Wagon: Opening alongside Drift Box and Giant Citern on 3 April 2027, this family flat ride combines rotations, tilts, and swinging motions for a dynamic experience.

Expanding the Park Experience
The €6 million expansion represents a new direction for O’Fun Park, creating a hybrid concept that blends an active outdoor pursuit offering with traditional theme park rides.
Looking beyond 2027, the park has already confirmed plans for a new station to host a miniature railway set to open in 2028, with additional attractions planned for the same year.
