Opening in 2019, Europa-Park’s new water park Rulantica will feature 17 water slides and an elaborate Nordic theme.

In the approximately 32,600 square-meter indoor area, water enthusiasts can expect eight exciting Nordic themed areas, open throughout the year.

A total of 25 attractions including 17 spectacular water slides, Germany’s largest indoor wave pool, a relaxing Mystery River as well as many other highlights promise real water fun.

The mystic Trøll Valley will be perfectly suited to the needs of the youngest visitors.

After an exciting and thrilling experience, the spacious rest area will offer 1,700 deckchairs for relaxation. Eight individual Cabañas with catering services will offer families an exclusive retreat. But not only in the 20-meter-high, shell-shaped hall, but also in the 8.000 square-meter outdoor area, there will be plenty to discover.

In the fast-flowing Wild River time will seem to fly by. Furthermore, in the outdoor swimming pool, children will be able to play and romp in the open while their parents enjoy some well-deserved sunbathing on one of the 500 deckchairs.

If after all the water attractions visitors feel like having a culinary 'time out' in this world of experience, they will be able choose from a wide range of catering offerings.

In addition to a spacious family restaurant in the style of a boat house, which will offer many treasures from expeditions of the Adventure Club of Europe, as well as another self-service restaurant, there will also be a café offering all sorts of sweet treats. Likewise, in the bar, visitors will be able to pamper themselves to their heart’s content.

For water park fans that do not want to leave the poolside for a soothing drink, the cool pool bars in the indoor and outdoor areas will be just the right thing. Furthermore, three shops will offer the opportunity to browse a bit, refresh the equipment, or secure a small Rulantica souvenir.

Especially for families, the resort extension is a perfect addition to one of the best theme parks in the world. Before and after the refreshing adventure, a convenient shuttle service, which will link the water park directly with Europa-Park and the resort hotels, ensures comfortable arrivals and departures.

Europa-Park owner Roland Mack:

“The expansion of our overall offer and the realization of this unique water world is an important step towards securing the future of the location. We cannot afford a standstill if the region is to remain attractive to guests who are travelling from further afield. This lighthouse project not only provides a positive impulse for tourism development, but at the same time creates 550 new jobs and increases leisure value for the local community.“
