Fury, one of the most anticipated new roller coasters in Europe, is now open at Bobbejaanland in Belgium.

The innovative triple-launch roller coaster from the German manufacturer Gerstlauer allows riders to vote on whether to experience the ride forwards or backwards.

Fury is located in a new 2-hectare Land of Legends themed area. The thrill ride Sledge Hammer and roller coaster Typhoon are also part of this area.

Yves Peeters, General Manager of Bobbejaanland:

“The layout of the roller coaster is tailor-made. The highest point of the course is no less than 43 meters. We break the record of fastest coaster in the Benelux at 106.6 km per hour, there are a huge number of surprises in the course of the course and we are unveiling a world first. Visitors who wish to do so can also take the ride in the backward direction."

Peggy Verelst, Commercial and Creative Director of Bobbejaanland:

“The theme was presented to us by the Leisure Expert Group. We thought it was important to bring back the cornerstones of Bobbejaanland such as nature and adventure in the zone and at the same time bring something completely contemporary. In Land of legends, the 4 natural elements are guarded by the Guardian of Elements. Angry forces are attacking the empire, forcing the Guardian to call in help from our guests to compete.”
