The construction of Ducati World at Mirabilandia continues with the new duelling coaster almost complete and named Desmo Race.

Rev your engines, because the soundtrack of Mirabilandia in 2019 will be the rumble of Ducati motorcycles.

Indeed, the construction works on Ducati World have continued unabated: 35,000 square metres of the park will become the new beating heart of Mirabilandia and the world's first themed area in an amusement park inspired by a motorcycle brand.

Ducati World's main attractions include the duelling coaster Desmo Race with a one of a kind track in the world, letting visitors experience the thrill and adrenaline of riding a Ducati.

The new area will also host a structure entirely dedicated to the Ducati Experience with latest-generation simulators, three new attractions for the little ones, a Ducati World Shop where guests can purchase clothing and accessories and three new dining options inspired by the Ducati and Scrambler brands.

Desmo Race will allow riders to control the acceleration and braking, making every run an authentic head-to-head between bikes roaring along parallel rails. This will be a Spike Racing powered roller coaster from German manufacturer Maurer, only the second ride of this type in the world.

Diavel Ring, Kiddy Monster and Scrambler Run will give families additional new rides to experience.

With the opening of Ducati World scheduled for Spring 2019, Mirabilandia continues the investment plan that in the last three years has seen the park introduce the Far West Valley themed area in 2016, celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2017 by renewing one of its most beloved roller coasters, Master Thai, by equipping it with Virtual Reality, and the expansion and renovation of the Mirabeach water park that was completed in 2018.
