There are lots of new rides and attractions to enjoy at Parc Spirou Provence in 2019.

The French theme park opened as recently as June 2018, and it has already invested €10 million in these new additions and improvements for this year.

Located in Monteux, just 10 minutes from Avignon, Parc Spirou Provence is based on the characters from the Spirou comics.

The new rides and attractions include two roller coasters, a water ride, a 6D cinema, and two thrill rides.

New at Parc Spirou Provence:

  • Le Flume - this new water ride from German manufacturer HAFEMA is going to be thrilling and wet, with a 4 metre backwards drop and a 10 metre forwards drop.

  • City Safari Marsupilami - enjoy a new 6D film about Marsupilami and his family. Be prepared to experience air, water, vibrations and smells. This replaces the previous Zombillénium AGV dark ride from Simworx.

  • Rollerball - a new type of roller coaster from RES. Rise up 30 metres and enjoy an exciting ride swinging forwards and backwards along the vertical track.

  • Zorglub Station - a 'Star Shape' thrill ride from German manufacturer Zierer. The 30 metre long arm carries you up at 100km/h and spins you in many different ways.

  • Spinning Coaster - a children's roller coaster from the Italian manufacturer Preston & Barbieri.

  • Mine Tower - a 90 metre high rotating free fall tower that tilts riders forwards by 20°. It is a 'Skyfall' thrill ride from Australian manufacturer Funtime.

Parc Spirou Provence will also open a new themed playground in 2019, as well as introducing a new land train to transport visitors from the car park to the entrance.
