Nigloland in France will be opening its doors on July 11, including the debut of their new roller coaster, Noisette Express.

Procedures to minimise the risks associated with the coronavirus (COVID-19) will be implemented in accordance with the recommendations of authorities.

Nigoland, located in Dolancourt, has made an investment of €3 million in the new family roller coaster.

Rodolphe Gélis, Director of Operations:

"It is the first time in the history of Nigloland that the park was unable to open its doors last spring. Thanks to various government announcements and the stabilisation of the health situation, we are delighted to be able to meet our public again on July 11 for a summer season that promises to be rich in emotions. In view of the exceptional context, we have also decided to postpone the closing date of the park to next November 15. We can't wait to start this season and once again transport our visitors to an enchanting world!"

Noisette Express features 220 metres (722 feet) of track, surrounded by 200 trees and shrubs. Each train will complete 2 laps of the course.

The new ride will have a height requirement of just 90 cm making it suitable for younger children. It replaces the former 'Big Apple' roller coaster Chenille that operated at the park from 1997 to 2019.
