Tiki-Waka, a new family roller coaster in the Exotic World at Walibi Belgium, has officially opened following an inauguration.

The brand new ride is located in a new exotic-themed area with the existing Challenge of Tutankhamon attraction.

German manufacturer Gerstlauer has built the new roller coaster, which is 500 meters long and reaches speeds of up to 55 km/h. 

After around four months of construction in the theme park, the final piece of track for Valkyria is in place.

Andreas Andersen (CEO of Liseberg), together with the project team, got to sign it before it was moved into position.

Valkyria – which will open in summer 2018, will be the largest and longest dive coaster in Europe.

Starting in October 2018 be immersed in the mesmerising magic of Disney animation with Mickey’s PhilharMagic, a new 4D musical attraction coming to Disneyland Paris.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic will take over the Discoveryland Theatre, previously home to 4D attractions such as Star Wars: Path of the Jedi, Captain EO and Honey, I Shrunk the Audience!

The new Global Attractions and Attendance Report is the twelfth annual collaboration between the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) and AECOM.

It identifies the most visited theme parks and water parks around the world, including Europe's Top 20.

On the 7th May the popular Mystery River water ride at Movie Park Germany will re-open as Excalibur - Secrets of the Dark Forest.

The attraction will be completely re-themed throughout. King Arthur, the Knights of the Round Table, and dark creatures and fairy tale characters will populate the attraction, and the famous sword from this mythical history makes its appearance: Excalibur.

Movie Park Germany has shared a taste of what is to come, including the new storyline and a series of illustrations.
