Parc Saint Paul will open a new wooden roller coaster called Wood Express from The Gravity Group in 2018.

At a cost of 3 million euros the new wooden roller coaster will be 49 feet (15m) tall with a 57° drop reaching speeds up to 38 mph (61 km/h) over 1,572 feet (479m) of track and will feature 13 moments of airtime.

Parc Saint Paul is a family theme park near Paris in France. Wood Express will be their 7th roller coaster.

Walibi Belgium has announced the name of the new family roller coaster opening in 2018: Tiki-Waka.

Germany's Bayern-Park will premiere Stadlgaudi 4D in 2018, the world's first Farm Fair GameChanger interactive ride.

Stadlgaudi 4D is a brand new interactive attraction where riders are seated in themed wagons and taken through four scenes. Riders interact with the scenes using cannons and collect points as they go. At the end points are totalled up and the final scores revealed.

This new rotating dark ride has been developed by Lagotronics Projects and will open in May 2018.

This year Dennlys Parc in France will debut Squadron 33, a new interactive ride, as well as a new water playground.

Squadron 33 will be an 'Aerobat' attraction from Italian ride manufacturer Technical Park, which features 14 spinning seats supported by arms from a rotating centre raised 45° above the ground. Riders control 2 independent side wings to spin themselves in either direction.

It is a reinvention of a classic 'Paratrooper' ride with added interactivity to create an individual experience, as each rider can control the level of spin.
